iCloud is a fantastic cloud service that Apple offers to all iPhone users. Aside from limiting accounts to 5GB of storage (unless you buy more), it’s a fairly useful backup solution. Men, we can’t say the same about restoring data. If you get yourself a new iPhone, then you must restore all of the backup’s contents. This can be a big problem if your new iPhone has less storage than the last one.
Not all hope is lost though, Dr.Fone-Backup & Gendanne (iOS) can lend a hand. Dr.Fone is the ultimate iOS data management tool. Unlike iCloud, this program allows you to selectively backup and restore your data. Så, if you want to restore an iCloud backup, use this guide selectively.
Steps to Restore Backup from iCloud to iOS
Trin #1 – Install Dr.Fone on your computer and open the program to begin.
Trin #2 – Connect your iOS device using a lightning cable.
Trin #3 – From the options on the main menu, Klik på “Backup & Gendanne”.
Trin #4 – Klik på “Gendanne” and from the left sidebar, Klik på den “Gendan fra iCloud Backup” indstilling.
Trin #5 – To continue, you must enter your iCloud account details.
Trin #6 – If you have two-factor authentication set up then Dr.Fone will require the code. Check your iPhone as the verification code should appear on there.
Trin #7 – Once you verify your account a list of the backups that are on your iCloud account will be shown. Klik på “Download” next to the backup you want to restore and wait for it to download.
Trin #8 – Endelig, after the download is complete, select the data that you want to restore. Klik på “Gendan til Device” and within a few minutes, it will be available on your iOS device.
All data types from an iCloud backup are compatible with iOS devices. It’s important to note that Dr.Fone will never store your iCloud account information. Your account email and password will connect directly with the iCloud servers, nowhere else.
